Frequently asked questions
Is entering the hype SWISS GRAND PRIZE DRAW really free?
Yes. Entry is entirely free and requires no purchase. No payment, paid subscription, registration fee or purchase is needed to obtain a valid ticket.
Who can enter?
The draw is open to natural persons aged 18 or over and resident in Switzerland at the time of entry, who are still resident in Switzerland when a prize is awarded.
How many tickets can I have?
One person = one entry = one single ticket. Multiple entries, several email addresses, phone numbers, devices or social accounts do not create additional tickets.
Do I have to attend the draw to win?
No. Attendance is not required to enter or to win. The ticket of an absent participant remains valid in the draw with a coefficient of x1.
How does the x10 coefficient work?
If you are physically present at the hype SWISS Center on the day of the draw, identify yourself in person and complete the required check-in before it closes, your one and only ticket is weighted x10. This does not create ten separate tickets and does not guarantee a win.
Can I win more than one prize?
No. A participant can win at most one prize. As soon as a ticket is selected and its holder declared a winner, that ticket and all its weighted occurrences are permanently removed from the following draws.

Entries close for good on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 15:59, Swiss local time. Any entry received after that deadline is not admitted.
When and where does the public draw take place?
The public draw takes place on Saturday 26 September 2026 at the hype SWISS Center, 12 rue des Gares, 1201 Genève, Switzerland. The exact time will be announced on the official hype SWISS channels.
What can I win?
The draw comprises 80 prizes with a total indicative commercial value of CHF 257'600.46: 75 individual hype SWISS subscription prizes plus 5 premium MAJOR PRIZES. Up to 80 distinct winners can therefore be designated.
What happens if I win but I am not at the draw?
You can still win. An absent winner is contacted using the details given at entry. They have 30 calendar days to come forward, expressly accept their prize, confirm their identity and provide the information reasonably required.
Can a prize be exchanged for cash?
No. Prizes are personal, non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash or exchanged for their financial value, subject to any mandatory rights that may apply.
If I win a hype SWISS subscription, how long do I have to activate it?
A subscription won must be activated within 90 days of the final confirmation of the win. The free period then runs continuously from activation, subject to technical eligibility and the applicable identity checks.
Does a free subscription automatically become paid at the end of the period won?
No. There is no automatic paid continuation when the free period ends. Any paid continuation requires a separate contract and the express consent of the winner.
Do I have to subscribe to the newsletter or accept marketing communications to enter?
No. Entering the draw and consenting to marketing are two separate steps. Refusing or withdrawing marketing consent cancels neither the entry, nor the ticket, nor the x10 coefficient obtained in accordance with the Official Rules.
